Therapeutic Sound Yoga

Try something new and join a restorative and relaxing sound experience

What is it?

Therapeutic Sound Yoga is a collaboration between Shvaas Sound and Bea Yoga. A restorative and relaxing combination of Yin Yoga accompanied by crystal bowls based on the chakra centres within the body, followed by a full sound bath including Himalayan bowls and gong.

Who is it for?

These workshops are for anyone with an interest in gentle Yoga and sound therapy. From beginners to advanced, all abilities are welcome.

What does it involve?

Beginning with a gentle and restorative Yin Yoga session, you will be taken through a slow-paced style of yoga where we hold postures anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes, sometimes longer, to work on the fascia, connective tissues and joints. During the session you will experience the calming effects of the crystal bowls, played to complement the Yoga poses. After a short comfort break you will be able to relax and meditate with a full sound bath including Himalayan singing bowls and gong.

Remember to bring with you:

  • Yoga mat/towel

  • Pillow/bolster

  • Yoga blocks if you use them

  • Blanket

  • Plenty of water

Limited parking is available at the venue, as well as on street parking in nearby roads. The session will begin at 2.30pm with a 60 minute Yin Yoga session, a comfort break, and then a 45 minute sound bath. There are hot drink making facilities however no drinking water, so please make sure to bring plenty with you.

There will be a small selection of items for sale, such as handmade lavender eye pillows, chakra bracelets, crystals and massage balls.
